European Youth Forum Animated Explainer Video

The Clients Challenge

Independently established by youth organisations, the European Youth Forum is made up of more than 90 National Youth Councils and International Non-Governmental Youth Organisations, which are federations of youth organisations in themselves. It brings together tens of millions of young people from all over Europe, organised in order to represent their common interests.

Youth work offers a safe space for young people to express themselves and develop their talents. Wherever young people are, youth work can be. Yet youth organisations face severe budget cuts in today's Europe. Eurpean Youth Forum required a video that would help them spread the message of youth work's importance!

Our Approach

Simple colourful images that represent the diversity and inclusion of youth work globally.
We wanted the animation to feel young, vibrant and representative of the youth audience
We wanted the video to engage emotionally with the audience so the animation needed to show the impacts to their lives with reducing youth budgets to engage them to get involved and share the strong call to actionTo engage the audience, we wanted to show the visible impact of the reductions in budgets in youth work and
The music is light-hearted but with serious undertone which feels less patronising and enhances the messaging.
