Privacy Policy

Who we are:

At MHF, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients and visitors to our web site.  We want you to know that MHF is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. Our focus is on creating content and facilitating our clients, so we simply don’t do that sort of thing. But just in case you don’t believe us, in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

Our Company number:  08692969

Our Registered office is:  78 Bute Street, Luton, England, LU1 2EY

Types of Data we collect:

Our service providers use cookies, and those cookies may be stored on your computer when you visit our website. We use cookies to identify you when you visit this website and to keep track of your browsing patterns and build up a demographic profile. Our use of cookies also allows registered users to be presented with a personalised version of the site, carry out transactions and have access to information about their account. Most browsers allow you to turn off cookies or to receive a warning before a cookie is stored on your hard drive. Please refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn more about how to do this. However, should you decide to disable any cookies we place on your computer you may not be able to use certain services or facilities on the website. Google Analytics

When someone visits we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way, which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing Lists

We don’t often send out newsletters. However, should MHF ever wish to send out newsletters, we would only do so, if you have given your consent to being contacted in this way. We use a third-party provider, Mail Chimp, to deliver newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see Mail Chimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Storing information and Third Parties

As a rule, we do not share any collected personal data with third parties. If you contact us via our contact form or directly on an email address, your information will be housed within our email client. We use outlook. If your personal information becomes vital to a production and your information needs to be on a production call sheet, this will only be shared with other individuals who are specifically linked to the production.

We upload encrypted password protected videos onto Vimeo for clients to view and provide necessary feedback that we will then make changes on.  You can find what they keep via their privacy notice Here.  Vimeo must be GDPR compliant to operate within the EU.

Videos are big bits of information and we like it when we can send them to you in their full unpixellated glory.  In order to this we will sometimes have to use a third-party software called WeTransfer.  They collect limited information sent with files including email addresses, file names and personal messages.  WeTransfer must also be GDPR compliant in order to operate in the EU.

As with WeTransfer we will occasionally share information with you via Dropbox.  When we send this to you Dropbox will collect information such as your name, email address and any message we send with your data.  If you have a Dropbox account, they will collect even more data like how you use the data and download.  Here.  Dropbox also have to be GDPR compliant to operate within the EU.

Financial transactions relating to our website and services are handled by our third-party payment services providers, Xero. We will share transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds. You can access information about the payment services providers' privacy policies and practices on request.

Social Media

We are social creatures – come say hello on LinkedIn and Instagram.  If you follow us on social media, we will follow you back and say hello back.  Please tell us to stop if you don’t want us to.

Access to your personal Data

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email our Data Protection Officer Matt Haley at

We are a friendly bunch and won’t share your information with third parties without your explicit consent unless required to do so by law.

If we do come up with a video that we think you may be interested in, we may get in touch or target you with ads we think you may like to see.  However, to be perfectly honest we are normally too busy creating video content that we don’t have a lot of time for any of this other stuff.
