WAGO is a German family-owned business that manufactures electrical connections and automation equipment.
They have a client in the UK with 391 stores and outlets and biannually, they have an exhibition, where they attempt to attract 4,000 people to the two-day event. At the end of the event, they also hold a sales conference. The challenge for Wago was to bring more people to the exhibition, get more exhibitors, and bring more value.
Wago approached mhf to create video content that would raise awareness of the event across social media and drive traffic and ticket sales.
We partnered with Wago to understand their challenges and needs and agreed to create 3 video campaigns. This consisted of pre-event video where we interviewed our client, CEF as well as a high energy promotional video that combined stock footage and animated text imagery. We then filmed at the CEF Live event, talking to customers about the event, their experience of the Wago brand and its products, creating a promotional video that could be used for future events. We also created some fun social media content videos, giving an insight into the people behind the Wago brand, its customer base of contractors, its key influencers and its electrical connectors.
