CEO-led
The strategic story came directly from the person leading the business rather than being communicated through anonymous brand copy.
CEO Leadership Video Case Study
Putting the CEO front and centre of the rebrand.
A CEO-led film for Mixology Digital, created to explain the thinking behind its company rebrand and communicate the strategy, personality and people behind the business.
Produced by MHF Creative, a corporate video production agency , as part of our leadership video production work with CEOs, executives and subject matter experts.
Watch the FilmThe Brief
As Intentify Demand became Mixology Digital, the business needed to explain more than a new name and visual identity.
The rebrand represented a wider shift in how the company wanted to present itself: more human, more distinctive and less like the faceless demand-generation businesses it was competing against.
Rather than relying on corporate brand language, the film put the CEO directly behind that change. His role was to explain what Mixology Digital does, why the business had evolved and the thinking behind its new direction in a way that felt personal and credible.
It is the same principle we bring to our leadership video production : use the people closest to the strategy to make important business messages easier to understand and believe.
The CEO Film
Instead of hiding the strategy behind polished corporate language, Mixology put its CEO directly in front of the audience.
The interview gave him space to explain what the business had become, why the brand was changing and what Mixology Digital wanted to stand for going forward.
The result is a leadership video built around personality and perspective rather than a conventional company announcement, connecting the new brand with the people and thinking behind it.

Our Approach
We kept the production deliberately compact: one producer, one Director of Photography and one focused filming day at Mixology Digital’s London Bridge office.
We arrived at 8am to prepare the space and filmed the CEO interview first, securing the main strategic story before moving through the office to capture the wider team, natural interactions and supporting b-roll.
That single day ultimately supported two different pieces of content: the more in-depth CEO film and a separate 60-second animated rebrand video.
A producer and DOP gave us the production control we needed without bringing an unnecessarily large crew into a working office.
We prioritised the CEO interview while the environment was controlled, securing the strategic narrative before moving into wider workplace filming.
The team footage captured afterwards created a wider visual library that could support both the CEO story and the shorter animated rebrand film.
Project Value
The opportunity was to give the Mixology Digital rebrand a voice, not simply a new visual identity.
Putting the CEO at the centre of the longer film created a direct connection between the new brand and the thinking behind the business. The strategy could be explained by the person leading it, rather than relying entirely on corporate messaging.
The production was also structured to create more than one way to communicate that change. Alongside the in-depth CEO film, the same filming day supported a shorter 60-second animated rebrand video, giving Mixology two distinct pieces of content from one production.
It reflects the wider role of leadership video production : making important business decisions easier to explain through the people with the authority and perspective to tell the story.
Leadership
Made the CEO part of the rebrand story, giving the business a recognisable voice through which to explain its direction, positioning and thinking.
Brand
Connected the new Mixology Digital identity to a wider story about how the company had evolved and how it wanted to present itself going forward.
Content
Used one London Bridge filming day to support two different communication needs: a detailed CEO story and a concise animated rebrand film.
The strategic role
Turn a visual rebrand into a business story people can hear directly from the person leading it.
Frequently Asked Questions
How we planned a compact London office shoot around a CEO interview, wider team footage and two different video outputs.
The project is a useful example of how a focused leadership video production can communicate a major business change without requiring a large crew or multiple filming days.
The video was created to help Mixology Digital explain the thinking behind its company rebrand through the voice of its CEO. Rather than communicating the change through brand messaging alone, the longer-form film gave the CEO space to explain the business, its evolution and the strategy behind its new direction.
We filmed at Mixology Digital’s own office in London Bridge. Using the company’s real working environment allowed us to capture the CEO interview and then move into wider team and workplace footage during the same production day.
The on-site crew consisted of one producer and one Director of Photography. Keeping the crew compact made it easier to work efficiently inside an active office while still giving us the production control needed for the CEO interview and supporting b-roll.
The crew arrived at 8am to prepare the office and filming setup. We prioritised the CEO interview first so the core leadership narrative was secured before moving on to film the wider Mixology team, workplace interactions and additional b-roll. The filming day finished at approximately 5pm.
The production supported two distinct video outputs. The first was the more in-depth CEO film explaining the company rebrand and strategic direction. The second was a separate 60-second animated rebrand video. Planning both outputs together allowed the same filming day and supporting footage to work across two different communication needs.
A rebrand often reflects a wider change in positioning, strategy or ambition. Putting the CEO on camera gives the organisation an opportunity to explain that thinking through a recognisable leadership voice, adding context and personality that a visual identity or written announcement cannot provide on its own.
