RMS × Wild Acres Park
A story-led hospitality case study following an RV park manager and showing how RMS technology fits into the realities of running the business and looking after guests.
Hospitality Case Study Video Production
Different hospitality businesses. The same platform at work.
A customer case study video series for RMS, filmed on location in Maine to show how real hospitality businesses use its technology to solve operational challenges and improve the way they work.
Through customer interviews, real working environments and hospitality b-roll, the series turns product claims into credible stories told by the people using RMS every day.
Explore the Customer StoriesThe Brief
Following its rebrand, RMS wanted to build greater visibility in the US and show prospective customers what its hospitality technology looked like in the real world.
Rather than relying on RMS to make the case for its own platform, the brief was to put existing customers at the centre of the story and let their experiences provide the proof.
The New England region gave the series two contrasting hospitality stories: a family-run hotel business and an RV park, both using RMS technology within very different day-to-day operations.
The objective was to create customer case study videos that could humanise the businesses using RMS, demonstrate the platform through genuine customer experience and give prospective US customers credible reasons to take a closer look.
The Customer Stories
The series shows RMS through two very different businesses, giving prospective customers a more human view of how the platform works in real hospitality environments.
One story takes us inside a family-run hotel business. The other follows the manager of an RV park. Together, the films demonstrate the breadth of RMS through the experiences of the people using the technology every day.

A hospitality SaaS customer story centred on a family-run hotel business, bringing together leadership, day-to-day operations and the role RMS plays across the organisation.
The Series
Different businesses and different operational realities, connected by real customer experience of the same RMS hospitality platform.
Our Approach
We designed the production so a small on-location footprint could still deliver two carefully shaped customer stories.
MHF remotely produced the shoot from the UK, developing the interview structure in advance and giving RMS’s marketing manager the questions and guidance needed to draw out useful, natural responses from each customer.
Alongside the interviews, we created a detailed filming plan for our DOP covering the people, environments, hospitality moments, operational activity and RMS platform footage needed to build each story in the edit.
Creatively, we moved away from the familiar corporate testimonial format. The intention was a more observational, documentary-style approach, using natural interactions, location detail and personality to make each customer case study video feel like a genuine story rather than a scripted endorsement.
Pre-Production
Interview questions, story themes and detailed shot requirements were prepared in advance so the DOP and RMS team knew exactly what each location needed to deliver.
Production
One DOP filmed both customer stories over two days in Maine, keeping the production unobtrusive while capturing interviews, real working environments and supporting hospitality footage.
Creative Direction
Natural conversations, observational b-roll and a stronger sense of place helped the films feel closer to short documentary stories than conventional talking-head customer videos.
Campaign Value
The value of the production goes beyond the two finished case study films.
Each interview gives RMS authentic customer voices, stories and proof points that can be reused wherever prospective customers need reassurance — from sales conversations to social content.
Longer customer stories can establish the full context, while individual answers can become shorter clips, quote-led edits and focused customer soundbites. The result is a more flexible bank of content rather than two assets with a single use.
That makes case study video production particularly valuable for B2B brands: one well-planned customer story can provide credible content across multiple stages of the sales and marketing journey.
01
Sales Enablement
Instead of relying solely on product messaging, RMS can bring genuine customer experiences into conversations with prospective hospitality businesses.
02
Social Content
Strong answers and individual proof points can be cut into shorter social videos, customer quotes and focused clips that introduce different parts of each story.
03
Content Longevity
Interviews, customer soundbites and documentary b-roll create a reusable content bank that can support different messages, audiences and marketing touchpoints over time.
The Strategic Role
Turn real customer experiences into a reusable content system for sales, social and ongoing marketing.
FAQs
More about the strategy, production and long-term value behind the RMS hospitality customer story series.
RMS had recently rebranded and wanted to reach more prospective customers in the US market. The series was created to showcase existing customers in New England and demonstrate the RMS hospitality SaaS platform through genuine customer experience rather than product messaging alone.
We produced two separate hospitality customer case study films. One centred on a family-run hotel business and the second followed the manager of an RV park, giving RMS two very different examples of its technology being used in real hospitality environments.
Both customer stories were filmed on location in Maine, USA, over two filming days. Shooting within the customers' real businesses allowed the films to include the people, locations and day-to-day hospitality environments behind each story.
MHF remotely produced the shoot from the UK and sent one DOP to Maine. Before filming, we developed the interview questions, briefed RMS's marketing manager and supplied a detailed shot plan covering interviews, customer activity, hospitality environments, operational footage and use of the RMS platform.
RMS wanted the customer stories to feel human and story-led rather than like traditional corporate testimonials. We therefore used a more observational, documentary-inspired approach, combining natural interviews with real environments, interactions and details from each hospitality business.
Yes. For RMS, the platform was shown within the context of each customer's real operation rather than treated as a separate product demo. This allows a SaaS case study video to communicate both the human experience of the customer and the practical role the technology plays in their business.
Yes. A well-planned customer interview can create far more than one finished film. Individual answers can become short social clips, customer quotes, sales assets and focused proof points, while the supporting footage can be reused across wider marketing content. This is a key part of our case study video production approach.
Yes. The RMS project is an example of how we can plan and remotely produce an international customer shoot while keeping the on-location crew deliberately small. We can develop the story, interviews and production plan before filming and build the right crew model around the location and project.
